Mathematics Exam In The Design And Realization

With the rapid development of computer technology and network technology, it is necessary to extend Internet teaching, and promote the reform of teaching methods. To have a paper-and-pencil test is a traditional and effective means of examing students about them learning in class. Meanwhile it is also an important aspect of network teaching. On-line examinations have become a powerful supplement to develop modern test system. At present, mathematics examinations were basically the paper-and-pencil tests, which apparently do not meet the needs of the times. It is of great importance to apply network tech to modern Math examinations and establish a new system of test based on XML. Therefore, it has become a significant task to have fuithen research on test data-base attached to on-line math examination in the fields of on-line math teaching.The premise of establishing a test data-base system is to organize information reasonably and effectinely. In this paper, it firstly analyzes the theory of the modeling of a test data-base and the testing theories. It also elaborates the current situation of test data-base system,its development,and the possibility to practise it with XML, SQL Server 2000, ASP. it discusses the overall framework of the system as well as the organizational structure of the database. Lastly, it elucidates the relenance of system operation by using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as na operating platform and a tool for programming ,wih MathML a major program maintaining daily operation of the system and transforming its funetional modules.This system realizes automatine editing and forming of the test paper and helps to maintain and optimize the data-base. The results shows that the on-line XML-based test data-base system for advanced mathematics can effectively enhance reliability and validity. It has some positive significance to improve the quality of teaching.
