As the era of the Next Generation Network (NGN) is coming, people require higher performace from the Internet. Besides the need for wider bandwidth, people ask more for security, reliability and more various of services from the networks. After studying plenty of documents about"Global Environment for Network Innovation"(GENI), routing and the structure of networks, accordding to the Next Generation Network's requirement on scalability, security and with the maturity of IPv6 technique,a suggestion of the structure for our NGN backbone is put forward. Further, a new plan for IP distribution basing on location feature and its routing realization are suggested. The main results are as follows:1. The holistic structure of NGN of China is studied.Compared with the structure of GENI Backbone, the hierarchical structure, which China's NGN Backbone should adopt, is analyed. And, some details about the explanation of the layer structure is given, including the inner-layer and inter-layer structure and the integration of the two, the three-demensional structure.2. A plan for IP distribution according to geographic location is studied, and the scalability, security, compatibility and mobility of the plan are analyzed. A set of programme for equipment expansion is put forward,so is the prevention of the loop and trajectory tracking algorithm. A system, which is compatible with the current IPv4 addresses and support mobile devices, is also put forwaod with the specific methods.3. The routing algorithm is suggested, which is basing the IP distribution plan referred to above. After the main routing protocols RIP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc,are analyzed,a shortest distance algorithm (predicted displacement reducing to zero algorithm) in physical sense is put forward. Finally, the methods ,how to verify the region controlled and how to locate the destination node, are given.4. The scalability of the IP distribution plan referred to above for the sensor network is validated. With VC ++ language environment, the IP distribution for the sensor networks according to the IP distribution plan is realized. 5.With VC++ environment, programming for region controlling algorithm is completed.
