Abstract/Summary:
Through-the-wall radar is a new radar system, which can detect the living life without intrusion and surveil the moving targets insides the building or blindage.It can be used for urban-warfare,hostage rescue and personnel hunt in the wasteland.The dissertation studied the through-the-wall radar system design and simulation, the main problems of the thesis studied as below:The dissertation introduced the ultra-wideband stepped-frequency signal and the imaging principle of high range resoulution, it prepared for behind simulation analysis.According to the radar design requirement and idea,the thesis confirmed the stepped-frequency through-the-wall radar system,which system and subsystem function are introduced.According to the requirement of scientific research item to TWS radar system function, radar system soft working flow chart and general working scheduling are designed and expatiated,it has reference value for farther subsystem module design.Compared with the receiver system at present and combined with the portable requirement,decided to adopt the Zero-IF receiver.According to the requirement of the subsystem function,which are radar receiver,data collection and communication interface,digital signal processor and display control module,discussed the outline design and project particular,include confirm and expatiate the interface relationship of subsystem each other and simple realize framework.Digital signal processor realized based on FPGA add double DSP chips,display control module realized based on FPGA add ARM9 series embedded development board.The effect on stepped-frequency radar performance of the amplitude and phase unbalance between the I/Q channel of radar system and the phase noise and spurious of DDS, which is the core chip of frequency source, are analysed and simulated. The result for system design has reference value.The result of design and simulation provide idea and reference to project design expatiate and its hardware and software realize .
