The safety is an important guarantee about the quality of railway transportation. The TPZ27 electronic cabinet is the core control device of SS4 modified electric locomotive, in which the fault will affect the normal operation of electric locomotive. It is significant to make sure the cabinet works normally for the safe operation of electric locomotive. Therefore, the electronic cabinet fault diagnosis system becomes very necessary.Regarding the TPZ27 electronic cabinet as object of study, the thesis analyses its principle and the control process of closed-loop speed regulation system that is composed of cabinet and main circuit of electric locomotive in the situation of traction and brake. The off-line test is used for test system in this thesis. The test scheme of system includes entire-cabinet test and single-board test. The system builds a mathematical model of main circuit of electric locomotive, realizes the closed-loop test of electronic cabinet by simulating the work environment of electronic cabinet.In the light of the dynamic manner of electronic cabinet works, the complexity of circuit and diversity of fault source, of taking the advantages of the Petri net which can effectively describe the fault with the characteristics of intercurrent and spread. In this thesis the fault Petri net is introduced based on Petri net. In order to solve a great amount of uncertainty of information in complex equipment of fault diagnosis, fuzzy production rules are used for describing diagnostic knowledge. This thesis gives the fuzzy fault Petri net transition fired algorithms, and presents a retrospective features and a level of backward reasoning algorithm, which effectively narrows the scope of the fault and reduces the rate of omission. The TPZ27 electronic cabinet fault diagnosis model of entire-cabinet test and single-board test based on FFPN(Fuzzy Fault Petri Net) is established.The hardware platform of the system is designed with the idea of modularization. According to different types of signals, the hardware platform is divided into a number of modules, which include digital I/O modules, analog I/O modules and frequency signal modules, etc. System software is designed for a series of functions, including user settings, testing system, knowledge management, and data management. In addition, the multithreading method is adopted, which improves efficiency of the system with a friendly user interface.The ault diagnosis system of electronic cabinet has been completed. The system has been adopted by the Taiyuan Railway Bureau technical appraisal by experts, and applied in Hudong locomotive depot with much praise.
