Recent years, with the continual development of CDMA standard, especially its support for high-speed, large-capacity data service, mobile terminals based on CDMA are developing toward diversity and high speed. Different from the traditional handset, wireless network card as an emerging wide-area communication terminal currently has been used in more and more applications.This thesis descibes a project of CDMA wireless card from ZTEMT Corporation, aiming to develop the Windows UI (User Interface) software. The thesis described the design and implementation of the system by describing the requirement analysis, function specification, system design and realization. The whole process embodies the idea of software engineering, and successfully applies idea of software engineering to the solution of practical project.The UI software of wireless card includes the design of data communication software and user interface. The data communication software implements reading wireless card hardware ports, sending and receiving DM (Diagnostic Mode) commands through this port, and providing a set of interfaces to user interface software. The realization of data communication adopts multi-threading to meet the needs of real-time system. User Interface software provides management of some functions and graphic user interface. This thesis describes detail implementations of every module by model of classes,realization of important classes and timing-charts of functions.The designed UI software can not only provide friendly user interface, but also implement variant service functions. The developed wireless network card has been tested and saled in the market. The functions are verified and the proformance is acceptable.
