In the modern high performance integrate circuit, due to the developing of the submicro and deep-submicro technology, the characteristic size of the IC chip decreases, the integrate level becomes much higher, the coupling between structures becomes much stronger, thus the method of equivalent circuit and the classical design method based on debugging experience is hardly accord with the demand of high precision. So, the numerical methods of electromagnetic field have become important methods of microwave integrate circuit design.Along with the characteristic size of the IC chip decreases, there will be enormous numbers of unknowns in numerical method, and the computation will be difficult; In order to simulate the circuit geometry characters, the mesh size will be much smaller than the wavelength. So the impedance matrix produced by the traditional RWG basis function is near singularity and the condition number is much larger, so we need to use a new basis function to solve the problem. This thesis uses the full wave analysis method based on the integral equation to analyze microwave integrate circuit. The main points are as follows:Firstly, it introduces the multilayered media electric field integral equation and mixed potential integral equation (MM-MPIE), and it derives a closed-form Green's function with the quasi-dynamic images, the complex images and the surface wave, which accelerate the speed of computing Sommerfeld integral.Secondly, the method of moment with RWG basis function has instability in dealing with low frequency and fine structure problem. For example, the impedance matrix is nearly singularity. This problem can be solved with loop-tree bases functions, which separate the divergence free and non-divergence free current. Finally, it introduces two methods in MOM analysis to extract S-parameter of two-port network. Then we extract the S-parameter of some microwave device with MOM, compared with the method of equivalent circuit. The method in this thesis uses multilayered media Green's function to analysis. This method only needs to mesh the grids on the conductor surface, so the unknowns will be much fewer. We also derive a closed-form of multilayered media Green's function to accelerate the speed of computing Sommerfeld integral, and we use loop-tree basis function to instead of RWG basis function to solve the instability problem of RWG basis function. The program can be used to analyze integrate circuit.
