EO acquisition, tracking and pointing (ATP) system is a sophisticated system integrating optics, mechanics and electronics. It is applied widely to equipments of measurement,electron antagonize,tracking and collimation,laser communication. In ATP system, intelligent management system is the control center and decision-making core which builds up data exchange channels for all sub-system equipments and implements data collection, transmission, disposal, display and record from all sub-systems. Besides, intelligent management system gets target track simultaneously by real-time analyse to Encoder system data and multi-sensor target detection data, and completes real-time catching, tracking and measuring tasks by controlling ATP system.In recent years, along with fast development of electron technology, ATP system becomes more and more complicated, and it has more new needs on the intelligent management system in aspects of more sub-system interface, quicker data transmission and disposal speed, firmer mechanical framework and better electromagnetism compatibility, etc. The intelligent management sub-system based on CompactPCI BUS meets these requirements well.This thesis theoretically studies and researches the characteristics and system structure of CompactPCI BUS. The thesis has been written with reference to actual engineering projects, analyzes the system function request of a typical intelligence management system,which has complex type of data interface ,and works out hardware and software design,and puts in practice in the engineering project at last.The new intelligent management sub-system is not only stable,reliable, and universally applied, but also expansive. It has great practical engineering value.
