| This system is designed for auto-measurement on the thickness of the plate which will be used in produce process. Using advanced measuring means, it stores and manages data with specially designed management software for increasing production efficiency and improving its qualities.This system which takes the Mitsubishi FX1N series PLC as the core, the platform and fixing as the foundation, the precision linear module as the drive organ, the traditional excircle initiative measuring device as the measuring component,processes the data primarily and then stores the result in PLC storage.In the next step it uses the tailor-made software which based on the program software Visual Basic 6.0 and the Microsoft Access database to read the stored data , process it by compare method.Finally,store these data in computer memories in order to manage them efficiently.The purpose of this system is to improve the measuring accuracy and the work efficiency.This article first analyses the system requirement, confirms its objective and designs the general structure.Secondly,it expounds the particular design of hardware,the control program design in PLC,the manage software design of upper monitor ,the system debug process and the conclusion.On the hardware design part,the paper begins with the pedestal which is the base of the integral structure, discusses the design and lectotype of the things as follow: platform for board fixing,the X-Y platform for the movement of measuring head of excircle initiative measuring device,stepper motor and the driver,excircle initiative measuring device,PLC and the computer.On the part of control program and manage software writing,the paper expatiate the idea of the design and achieve process of the PLC program design,communication between PLC and computer, manage software on upper monitor.This system was checked and accepted by related departments. At present, it has been put into use and gotten favorable comment of user. |
