The neutron radiography is having great change along with the improvement of neutron source technology. The traditional method of neutron radiography has been unable to meet the current requirements of the application of neutron radiography, and various new methods have came to true. A more advanced image data gathering system and better material are used to improve the efficiency of the neutron photography and the position resolution, based on the traditional neutron camera technique.The neutron radiography system takes the multi-anode multiplier phototube as a core, composing the 64 lithium glasses together as a neutron sensor. It converses the 64 group signals in to 4 group signal outputs using the DPC (Discredited version of a single-wire Position-sensitive proportional Counter readout) electric bridge by weight analysis method. Taking four groups signals tallied as the gate signal. Gathering signals from the ADC in the CAMAC system and then analyzing the data off-line. The multi-anode multiplier phototube uses MAPMT H8500C in the experiment which is produced by HAMAMATSU Corporation, and the neutron source is 252Cf.The result indicated that the neutron photography's detection efficiency has the distinct enhancement, which may reach above 90%, and the frequency can reach 1MHz. The smallest position resolution may also achieve 3mm under this method. It is conformed to the target anticipated.
