Ldap-based Distributed Heterogeneous Data Query Applications

With the developing of information and internet, the people more and more use data query, in order to query more data we should deal with the distributed heterogeneous data, so the querying of distributed heterogeneous data technology application more and more important. The information retrieval based on distributed heterogeneous information becomes a focus of studying in the field of learning at present.Now, the internet information retrieval systems are mostly central systems. The central information retrieval system needs to make index for information and store in the central server, so all requests are sent to the same server. This way simple and efficient, but dealing with current distribution information can not provide very good affection for retrieval and expose the limitations.At present, there are four methods about the distributed heterogeneous information querying: the transparent data access technology, distributed object technology, XML technology and Agent Technology. However, the distributed information retrieval system hasn't the better efficiency than the central information retrieval system. And the heterogeneity of information resources includes a number of levels: computer architecture class heterogeneity, the operating system level Heterogeneous, database management system-level heterogeneity, data structure and level of heterogeneous data semantic heterogeneity of the class structure. But there is no one way which is used to solve the heterogeneous information resources sharing technology in the current fieldcan deal with the above five levels of heterogeneity simultaneously.The distributed heterogeneous information querying and LDAP technology are focus questions. After analyzing several technologies which are relevant to this studying field and according to the distributed heterogeneous information environment and LDAP technology, this article proposes a distributed heterogeneous information retrieval way based on LDAP.LDAP is the improvement of the X.500 .Because it has high efficiency inquiry,distributional deployment frame and exquisite access control, LDAP is used in foundational and crucial information management widely. Now in the domain of information security,science computation,network resource management,E-government resource management has the applications of LDAP. Because of the supports of LDAP to many kinds of databases, the isomerism information integration question in the traditional distributional isomerism data inquiry obtain the very good solution, and LDAP provides good server data synchronization and data reproduction mechanism in distributional data to each server, so the method has the good characteristics of querying of centralized querying and distributed querying, the multi-level and the wide range's isomerism data inquiry and the application can be used in many fields.After this article first introduces the present situation and the significance of the research, it introduces the LDAP technology. Then the paper introduces the system model structure and some core details, also gives the realization in the Enterprise information managements.
