Volume 2822 of Dunhuang documents collected by Russia is an Enlighten Reader, which is also named as a Vocabulary Dictionary of Enlightenment according to the Dunhuang Documents Collected in Russia. With some endleaves missing, the book remaining contains 36 pages with over 3000 words. The book is a collection of words of different categories, the remaining part of which includes Fan name, Clothing, Measure of Grain, Fruit, Farmland, Craftsman, the Body, Music, Drugs, Tools, Housing, the Analects of Confucius, Beasts, Proprieties, Colors, Official Titles, Administration, Place names, Kinships, and so on. Some significant research results on this book having already been revealed, it is still worth researching referring to the documentary perspective. Based on text proofreading, this paper aims to further explore the name of this volume, writing era, vulgar characters and its documentary value. The paper consists of four parts: introduction to the basic information of the volume and an overview of this research; Part I, explore the name of this volume and writing era; Part II, Corrections List; Part III, proofreading of the Dictionary of contemporary important characters (Za Ji Shi Yong Yao Zi).
