Research And Implementation Of Distributed Document Management System

With the development of information globalization, document management has become the chief channel for companies to improve the competitiveness. Traditional document management systems always stress the circulation of document and lack of a flexible mechanism to locate and make use of document information leads to some waste on it. On the other hand, traditional document management system cannot protect secret documents of users effectively which results in the leak of document information.To solve the deficiency in presented document management system, this paper puts forward a distributed document management framework which can improve efficiency of retrieving document and using document. Meanwhile, the framework provides a perfect usage control model to protect secret documents. The main contributions of this paper are as follows:1) The comprehensive distributed document management framework posed by this paper stresses the discovery, usage and protection of document information and makes the efficiency of it fully realized.2) Through research on modeling user's interests, a user modeling method based on ontology is presented by this paper. It solved the problems of multi-user interests and user group interests.3) As for access control model, this paper adopts UCON which is next generation access control model to have problems on document management system safety solved. Based on the achievements of researching on UCON, which is achieved by our research group, the UCON model based on ontology is applied to document management system, which results to solve system safety problems especially document share and secret problems.4) Adopting Lucene as full-text retrieving engine to realize full-text index makes the searches on document information more comprehensive and accurate. At the same time exalt the utilization of document information and prompt the share and spread of it.5) Using new Java EE 5 technique platform and Apusic OperaMasks framework to implement the system presented in this paper. This system also makes some beneficial attempts to popularize and apply this new technology.
