In this paper, an unequal spacing and real-weighting design methods of slotted waveguide array is present to realize beam—formed pattern design of slotted waveguide array and provide a new design way for slotted waveguide array. In this new method, the agile combination of technique of slotted waveguide array with that of beam—formation takes their full advantage therefore increase significantly the applications of slotted waveguide array antennas with important engineering value.In the traditional design methods of slotted waveguide array antennas, can only uniform phase distribution be realized, limiting the design ability of beam—formation of slotted waveguide array. In this paper, based on the null pattern synthesis methods of array and iterative arithmetic, the current and position distribution of elements is numerical optimized In this paper, some key problems in engineering design of slotted waveguide array have been analyzed in details by adapting some existing research results a design and analysis software of slotted waveguide array antennas is developed. By using the software two linear array to realize sector and csc~2 beam are designed. The measured results agree with the theoretical designs quite well and the good performance met for the requirement of practical engineering are achieved successfully.
