The technology of Computer Aided Design is first put forward by LE.thunderland since the year 1963 it has gone through four significant technologies innovations. The last innovation is the appearance of intelligent CAD. Geometric constraint solving is the core technique in intelligent CAD and parameter CAD. A geometric constraint solving problem is automatically construct a geometric graph that consists of a given set of geometric entities and satisfying geometric constraints between the entities by computer.There are four major approaches to geometric constraint solving method: numerical approach, symbolic approach, rule-based approach and graph-based approach. Geometric transformation method is one of graph-based approaches. There is a translation transformation in geometric transformation method which is put forward aiming at a kind of complex quadrangle construction question. The thesis is based on the geometric transformation method and extends the translation transformation belonging to the geometric transformation method so that it could solve all the complex quadrangles. The extending translation transformation can give out all the construction sequences and the approximately precise solution and enlarge the construction area.
