The visual simulative system were vastly applied on many fields, such as the simulation of military science ,the simulation of space science, the plan and design of the city construction. In recent years, with the rapid development of the space sciences, the visual simulative research for space mission became more and more significant. With the application of the visual simulative technology, the scientist and researcher of space science not only can get better plans and thoughts, but also can acquire a visual display directly.After deeply research and study on visual simulation, the thesis introduces a visual simulative system, which can be extensible, reusable and cross-platformed, and some key functions are implemented in the system, such as dynamic loading technology, console operation control, multi-display and multi-moded observe etc. Meantime, multi-pipe display and scene cruise are researched and applied in this system, which provide a better virtual display. The main work of the thesis as follow:(1)Developing a advanced visual simulative environment used OSG on the Linux OS, which can draw models quickly with OSG. And introducing the organization and management about the models of the space scene in detail.(2)Implementing the function design of the system. The functions in the systems including screen management, orbiter management, camera management, operating console management and script management.(3)Implementing the detail design of the system with OOD method according to the function design. Finally, developing a visual simulative system, which can be controlled by console operation, and can provide a series of extensible services. And solving some key technology such as multi-display, dynamic-loading and multi-moded observe etc.(4)In the user application level, designing console operation and dynamic-loading, these services make orbiters and cameras can be loaded into the scene easily. Designing script controlling service which is used for scene initialization.(5)Developing a visual simulative framework based on VR Juggler, which supports the application of many VR devices. In this system, multi-pipe display and scene cruise also designed. Besides, some further research was made in the thesis, as follow:(1)The dynamic-loading technology, which could provide the loading and deleting operation of the model in the runtime, such as the loading and deleting of the orbiters or cameras. It makes the scene extensible.(2)The console operation, which displays on the bottom of the screen, according to the keyboard inputting, controls and manages the scene.(3)The multi-display, some supplementary display was made in the one screen, which improves the effect of the display.All technology mentioned above provides a good example and method for the design of the visual simulation system in future.
