Research And Development Of Software Virtual Training Environment

Since the beginning of 1990's, under the pushing of the information and information superhighway, computer inter-network has all got development of explosive property in the technology and the application and has produced forceful but far-reaching effect to modern education pattern. At present, the training of software developer in our country is mainly theoretical teaching. The students lack the actual software development experience and aren't profound to the project development understanding. They often need a very long time to adapt the true project development work. So, it is significant to the research and the development of the software virtual training environment.Based on the research of the status in quo of software virtual training environment in home and abroad, the characteristic of computer teaching in universities at present and the teaching model of modern distance education, the paper gives the system design goal, detailed function model design and data message organizational structure design of the software virtual training environment. As a supporting system for modern distance education, this system consists of three subsystems: a subsystem for students to learn, a subsystem for teachers to teach and a subsystem for system administrators to manager the whole system. The paper gives the design and the implement of the subsystem for students mainly.The student's end system adopts B/S pattern. It is a three-tier application system based on web. It adopts J2EE three-tier structure. The implementation of J2EE three-tier structure enables the system to have distinguished quality of flexibility, compatibility, maneuverability.This paper analyzes the system structure and the function model of the student's system emphatically. At the same time, the paper gives the design and implementation of the on-line Q/A subsystem and the homework uploading & modification. Tasks of the system and communication between the users and the system can be performed on the Web. Access to the data on the Web can also be realized by connecting JSP and Servlet with the application of Javabean. With the application of component technology, the efficiency and quality of the development is greatly improved and the work of maintenance is reduced; with the introduced access limit to the data control, the safety, integrity and unanimity can be effectively guaranteed; the efficiency of the access to data can be greatly improved with the use of connection pool technology.
