Bank is an industry where information plays an advantage role. With the completion of mass data integration, almost all banks within China has accumulated a lot of business data. However, the data system are set up during different period and in isolated status, resulting in many "isolated information island". Those data can not be shared and repetitive data maintenance become the common industry practice. Useful data can not be mined efficiently and a lot of data become useless but occupies limited storage space. Integrating all the application's data is the most efficient method to solute the "isolated information island" question and to set up high - quality data mining platform. The subject article aims to give such a project.The first part of the article introduces the problem banks are facing,then come up with the solution of data consolidation. The second part introduces the relevant technical skills to realize the data consolidation. Based on the analysis of data requirement of a Province Branch bank information center, the article come up with the outline of the Data consolidation platform and organization structure. The following part first give a detailed analysis of the organization structure , and categorize the mass data into six parts according to data usage. And develop a maintenance program., secondly categorize the data accumulation and publication into different layers, resulting a six-level data flow. And then gives a detailed analysis of different layer and come up with a solution for the key question-data transfer. Then gives a comprehensive design for data accumulation and publication. The last part of the article summarize the characteristics of the project and the point out the future revision method.The subject method has been put into practice of a Province Branch information system. The method has versatility and expansibility. The method is a good reference for bank data consolidation.
