Design And Development Of Integrated Management Platform For Web-based Academic Teaching

It is required that modernized university be well equipped with an advanced means of management. It is an urgent need to resolve various problems on teaching by means of modern information technology with its feasible application and in formalize the teaching management. Currently many of universities have been setting up their own Campus-Wide Information Systems with the rapid development of the computer network. Under such circumstances, Network Educational Administration Management information System can be realized by Internet based on the Network Management Information System built by virtue of web technology and software development technology.Educational administration and Teaching synthesis Management information System based on Web technology is built upon Internet environment. It is the combination of both Internet technology and the development method of Management information System. In the process of this system development,used the B/S pattern to take the development pattern, used Web technologies include: IIS, ASP, SQL, etc.The functions of Educational administration and Teaching synthesis Management information System based on Web technology applied in such fields as System maintenance management, Teaching resource management, Plan of instruction management, School register management, Net chooses the class management, Result management, Class schedule management, Test the service management, Teaching material management, Experimental management and so on. The design of this system includes the design of database table and the functional cells, in which row of class subsystem is a key point.This essay mainly explores the function of system requirements of this system by means of structuralized analysis. The flow chart and the logical model of the new system are presented based on the advanced technology and the modularized software structure, with which every functional module and database is elaborately designed so that the whole system sees the realization.
