As our country has joined WTO formally, the banks of our country must burden theenormous impact of the foreign banks. Over 75% of profits of the commercial bank ofdeveloped country were brought by the intermediate service. In four major banks of ourcountry, the intermediate service only accounts for about 10% of all incomes. Thecontention of intermediate business resources is becoming fiercer in recent years. If onewants to prevail over the competition, besides that all bank business segments selltacticsand the high service qualities of the operators of the front desk, the dependability andstability of the intermediate business system becomes the key factor in the competition ofthe whole bank system.Telephone-fee Collecting System is one of the intermediate services. It is of lowdegree of risks and high degree of profits.The function of this system is that the bankreplaces the telephone office to collect the telephone-fee. The system increases thebenefits of the intermediate services, and decreases the manual burdens of the telephoneoffice caused by the fees-collecting service. Besides, it offers convenience for individualsand enterprises when they collect fees. Therefore, it promotes the fund backset of thebank, and makes the objective economic benefits.Telephone-fee Collecting System is constructed on the UNIX operating system,theInformix database,the C language and based on the intermediate business platform.In thisthesis, the technologies and advantages about intermediate business platform which usedin our system are first described. In the following parts, The function and interfaceanalysis of Tuxedo are included, which is a safely transaction processingmonitor.Finally the design idea, functionmodule and process flow of the system aredeeply analysed and expounded.
