The high-performance, low-cost, and miniaturized chip-type componentsusing in microwave/RF applications are the current trend. Passive multilayerfilter based on LTCC for radio frequencies meets those requirements very well.This thesis takes filter of "Miniaturization of the Radar receiver" asa research object. It sets out from the actual engineering application,introducing and designing about two kinds of LTCC filter that is LCconfiguration and stripline configuration.The section of LC configuration filter introduces the design of embeddedLTCC inductor and capacitor and designs a simple high-pass filter of LCconfiguration firstly. Then we introduce a new three-dimensional fashion thatimplements band-pass filter with one transmission zero which is proved by thesimulated results in HFSS.The section of stripline configuration filter is the most important ofthis thesis and all the filters we need in the item are designed in thisconfiguration. Firstly we introduce the parameter design of striplineresonance which is proved by the simulation in the HFSS. Then we summarizesome means which can improve the performance of filter, analyze parametersthat affect the performance of filter, and design three bandpass filters withcenter frequencies of 4.825 GHz, 5.57 GHz and 750MHz at the same time. Becauseof the time limitation finally we only process the filter with center frequencyof 5.57GHz for the moment. The measure results meet the requirements very well.
