| Position sensitive detector is one kind of Optoelectronic device utilizing the lateralphotoelectric effect, which can be used to detect the "center of mass" of the light orparticle incidence on its surface continuously. The spatial localizing algorithm of PSDarray formed by two axis-parallel-placed 2D PSD is researched; And One 1D PSD and One2D PSD combination array is also discussed. According to the demand of engineering, thealgorithm is simplified. The localization area is divided into three parts, the characteristicof each part is discussed; on the base of the former axis-inclined-placed PSD arraylocalization algorithm, an innovational improvement is made by change the axis defining.The improved algorithm is much simpler than the former one, so than can be engineeringmore convenient. The localization characteristic of improved algorithm and severalextreme situations are researched. An algorithm is worked out to unify the two situations ofthe parallel array and the inclined array. Algorithm Simulations are done using Matlab. Therange, error and the effect of parameter changing to range and error is researched.The principle and methods of anti-jamming of PSD are analyzed. The mathematicalmodel and hardware implementation of light intensity modulating is emphasized in thispaper. After analyzing the mathematical model and the hardware of the sine wavemodulation and Pulse Amplitude Modulation(PAM) for light intensity, the followingconclusion is worked out: sine wave light intensity modulation don't need the synchronoussignal between modulating light generator and localizing system and its single spectrumwith a single direct current component. Two advantages above make its engineering futuremuch brighter than PAM for light intensity. Hardware implementation for filters, EnvelopeDetector and Phase-sensitive detector are designed. The error source for Envelope Detectorand Phase-sensitive detector is analyzed; a software compensation method is utilized inorder to minify the error. PCBs and software of the basic PSD system are finished. ThePSD system is the base of the experimental research. |
