Based On The Design And Its Key Technologies Of The Telecommunications Auditing And Monitoring System Of Heterogeneous Data Sources

Based on the introduction to the telecom operator's Business Supported System (BSS) and deep analysis of its data processing, a data auditing method is summarized. This method has been implemented in the revenue assurance work to find out revenue leakage problems in BSS. Furthermore, researches have been done on how to build a data auditing and monitoring system according to this method.In the dissertation, BSS and concepts of telecom Revenue Assurance are introduced. Through deep analysis of the BSS, a method which implements data auditing according to the peer to peer data relationship in the BSS is summarized. It helps to find out problems that may lead to revenue leakage. In order to improve the flexibility and efficiency of data auditing, a data auditing and monitoring system is suggested to be constructed. Data models, function modules and some data auditing rules are proposed. In addition, in order to access the heterogeneous BSS more efficiently, a new data integration architecture based on Data Warehouse and Wrapper/Mediator architecture is designed. Four kinds of techniques are used in the architecture. Firstly, transparent gateway and database link are used to access the heterogeneous data sources. Secondly, snapshots are used to improve the query performance. Thirdly, job queue technology is used to timely extract data from BSS. Lastly, triggers are used to monitor the key performance instructions.Utilizing the peer to peer data relationship that exists in the BSS to implement data auditing is an effective method to find out the problems that may lead to revenue leakage. The new architecture that is based on Data Warehouse and Wrapper/Mediator architectures makes it more efficient for the data auditing system to access heterogeneous data sources.
