Research-based Wireless Location Technology Of Wlan Mobile Terminal

This thesis is a sub-topic, that has acquired financial aid of the national natural science fund item (No. 60673108).With the development of Wireless Local Area Networks (WLAN) in recent years, it as a way to connect into wide breadth communication has shown development situation that fusing with 3G, and with WLAN terminals' popularity, the technology of wireless location based on WLAN also has attracted extensive concern of the domestic and international scholars. Currently, the American New bury Networks company etc. have already studied and developed the products applying WLAN wireless location. People' need of WLAN location service, will promote fast development and applying of wireless location based on WLAN.This thesis mainly studies the method to carry out and the resolving method for relevant problems in the technology of wireless location based on WLAN. This thesis considers the development tendency of wireless location and technical characteristics of WLAN system and comparison according to merits and shortcomings of wireless location technology, choosing the TDOA location technology as location method; the key researchs are the algorithm of wireless location and the method of restraining NLOS error, at the same time this thesis also inquires the related problems such as GDOP and so on, and makes analysis to the related algorithm by simulation.Some new ideas are proposed in this thesis, and making analysis to them by simulation, that gains beneficial improvement. In the end, this thesis summarizes the research work, and looks into the future research development direction.
