Design, Uml-based Smart Sensor Framework

The bases of modern information technology include sensor technology, communication technology and computer technology. The three parts commit the process of information acquiring, information transformation and information process. Along with the development of the technologies, the sensor becomes smaller, intelligent and be connected in networks. Intelligent sensors or network sensors are widely used in different areas.This paper analyses the definition and function requirement in detail. Then construct a requirement model of intelligent sensor via UML. With the help of use case diagram the paper describes every requirement of different users and describe partners and information transformation for every use case using sequence diagram. And then analyses the co-operation of the function models of intelligent sensor using collaboration diagram. Finally the paper discusses the design detail for hardware and software of intelligent.The definition of intelligent sensor model provides a solid base for intelligent sensor design. It also provides a clear idea for intelligent design. The proposed structure can be used in different industry usage.
