Opto-eletctonic detecting technology based on CCD array is a newly appeared measurement technique. It has been widely applied in many fields because of its unique performances. This technique can be employed in high precise, automatic and real time testing of laser beam quality parameters. This thesis introduces a solution to measurement system of laser beam based on CCD array, and develops a software dedicated to such a measurement. The software can capture laser beam profile picture and translate the image to special form for further analysis. In the end, results of analysis in text form, 2D diagram form and 3D object form are presented. This thesis introduces the following topics:1) The principle of measurement of laser beam quality based on CCD array; 2) The structure and implement of measurement software; 3) The constructing and rendering of 3D module of light intense distribution on laser beam profile using OpenGL technology; and 4) The calibration, noise processing and image translation technology used to improve the performance of the measurement softwareIn the first section, the article first introduces the high precise measurement base on CCD array. After that, the base and structure of the system are discussed. In the end , we give an example of Gaussan beam testing. In the second section, the software, the most important part of the measurement system is introduced, which offers precisely computing and easily operating, smoothly running, and conveniently updating. This section discusses several key techniques used in the development of the software, such as image capture, psendocolor, multi-thread programming, 3D object rendering and image translating. The software is developed in MFC on Microsoft Visual Studio .NET platform. In the third section, the basic concepts of OpenGL are introduced at the beginning. And then the solution and the implement of the constructing and rendering of the 3D module are given. Finally, this section discusses how to use OpenGL in MFC.In the fourth section, three methods are discussed: the calibration method, the noise control method, and the image translation method. These methods are important to make the software gain a high performance. In conclusion, the laser beam quality analysis system discussed in the thesis provides strong function to measure laser beam quality parameters. It accords with the trend of modern instrument development, and has a large application scale.
