With the development of the technique,Radar has been more diversiform and more complicated. ECM (Electronic Countermeasure) is faced with complex electromagnetic environment. How to sort and analyze signal is an important research of ECM. In this paper, we mainly research the signal sorting and system simulation:(1) The paper analyses the character of signal environment from radar receiver. Carry out the simulation of signal source. Discuss the parameter for signal sorting and the types of pulse repetition interval (PRI). Fix on the scheme and guide lines of this thesis.(2) In radar signal sorting area, PRI sorting is the most important process. The paper makes a study of traditional PRI sorting algorithm for radar signal. It makes emphasis on PRI sorting including histogram(Cumulative Difference Histogram and Sequential Difference Histogram) and dynamic association.(3) In real signal environment, pulses always lose, the range of PRI jitter is wide, but traditional PRI sorting algorithm can not handle it. The paper makes a deeper research into PRI transform algorithm and plane transform algorithm, which can deal with the problem mentioned quite well.(4) According to the feature that some radar signals vary according to some rules, the paper researches the method of modulation recognition of stagger PRI, jitter PRI, the PRI curve varies as sine wave, the PRI curve varies as sawtooth wave.(5) The paper researches a sorting method which combines SDIF(Sequential Difference Histogram) and PRI transform. This method can provide us with satisfactory results even when confronting a mixture of constant PRI and jitter PRI and with pulse interference or pulse loss.(6) On the base of the analyses mentioned above, the paper carries out radar real time signals sorting and recognition, simulating on the MATLAB. It specifies the every process of the system and introduces a dynamic clustering method for DOA (Direction of Arrive),PW(Pulse Width) and RF(Radio Frequency) sorting and gets a satisfactory result. It not only carries out an accurate classification, but also saves the storage space. When doing PRI sorting, a combination of modified dynamic association and modified PRI transform is applied. It adopts curve fitting to sequence sorting and achieves accurate result. The simulating shows that the method realizes the accurate sorting and recognition.
