The combine of mobile communication and data operation is the significant measure to improve diversity among productions and expand the market, along with the improvement of communication industry and the increasing homogeneity of voice operation. Mobile data operation becomes a new increasing point, which is the result of high-quality competition in mobile communication field and the subdivision of market. With new technique and new operation, mobile communication users will get their most needed service in the most preferential price. CDMA1X brings the basic of diversity competition, and its powerful bearing ability of wireless data operation gives mobile communication users much more choices. At present the number of Unicom CDMA1X users has exceeded fifty million.Wireless communication technique has extraordinarily improved, and wireless network bandwidth is more and more satisfying the need of different operations. In this paper, streaming media system is designed at the basic of Unicom CDMA2000 1X wireless network. CDMA2000 1X is the third mobile communication system completely compatible with IS-95, with code division and frequency division combining multiple access technique. CDMA2000 1X provides the enhanced speed volume including forward RC3-RC9 and reverse RC3-RC6, transmitting data with different high speed air channel velocities in different environments. The single highest speed air channel velocity for packet data transitions can achieve 307.2kbps, so it can satisfy the request of the third mobile communication high speed packet data operation. By this token, there are sufficient reasons to develop mobile streaming media operation in such favorable wireless network bandwidth environment.With the commercial application of the CDMA2000, the 2.5 generation of mobile communication, the rate of data transmission on the mobile internet is increasing geminately. China Mobile and China Unicom provide the mobile stream multimedia service, such as living broadcast on TV, on-line living broadcast, VoD and so on, which will be the kernel value-added operation of the 3 generation network. Mobile stream technique takes the compressed video and audio onto the network server, and then the user can look and listen while the data is downloaded. In this way, the whole data don't need to download at first. The mobile stream technique combines several techniques, such as data collection, compression, storage, network communication and so on.As a new field, mobile streaming media also has lots of problems and challenges. Now the problems requiring solved are: the limit of network bandwidth, the unite of different video criterions, the lack of video content, the need of improving mobile terminal, the high price of mobile phone, the high charge of video services, the indefinite market requires and so on. Those problems destine that the current mobile video operation is still on a developing level. There is a very long way for extensively realizing mobile video operation in deed.In this paper, we study on Chinaunicom CDMA2000 1X project grouping net and streaming media technique, combining the current market need. This paper advances a valuable way for the development and application of mobile communication streaming media technique.
