Infrared thermal NDT(nondestructive testing) is an emerging technology, which is rapid, high-efficiency, intuitive and valuable in application. The technological core consists of three parts: thermal excitation, thermal imaging and real-time image processing. THz has good penetrability to some substance. This paper presents the image processing of thermal wave signal and THz signal, and the design of the software based on the photoelectricity technology.The research contents of the paper include:1. The architecture and design of the software. The task is to create a reusable class, make the project inherit easily, and make the upgrade and maintenance easily. Using suitable design pattern design the software architecture. Select suitable developing tools and the method of mix programming in order to make conformity of the software.2. The implementation, application and evaluation of the thermal wave nondestructive testing system, its software has a great number of code lines.3. Image processing of the thermal wave nondestructive testing system includes crack the special format and show, play, play configuration, ROI, data output, 3-D display, faultage display, temperature-time curve, measure the length of flaw, support general file format of infrared thermal imager.4. The implementation, application and evaluation of the system of THz spectrum and imaging, its software has a great number of code lines.5. Image processing of the system of THz spectrum and imaging includes crack the special format and show, average clear noise, drawing time-domain spectroscopy, THz signal processing, CT display and 3-D rebuild.6. General image processing which is used in the two software systems includes zoom, full screen display, rotate, filter, and pseudo-color processing.
