Attitude control is the key technology to achieve the lunar soft landing, which is the essential for man to detect the lunar. Based on the actuality of this domain, this paper studied the Attitude Control System of the soft landing systematically and all-around from both the theoretical and engineering aspects.Based on the situation of our country and the actuality of astronautics, this paper designed and researched the Attitude Control System of the soft landing as a whole. The main work is done as follows:The performance of the Attitude Control System(ACS) of lunar soft landing greatly relies on the precision of the attitude determination. Aiming at the particularity of the different landing phases, the paper advanced one attitude determination method , consisting of CCD camera and peg-top. The simulation results show that this method is simple and available.The flight mission of the lunar explorer requires high precision. This paper mostly researched the attitude control system of lunar soft landing. Thrusters were chosen as the main actuators for the ACS in the paper and were configured on the lunar explorer. The configuration was analyzed detailedly and validated to be logical. According to the attitude kinematics of the lunar explorer, the variable structure control law was used in the thrusters. Because of the high accuracy, durability and anti-jamming, flywheels were used as accessorial actuators for certain phases of the lunar soft landing. Tracking control law was used for lunar explorer around the lunar. Simulation results showed that the attitude large angle slew is quickly realized and the controller can suppress the disturbance around effectively.According to the flight mission of the different phases, the attitude control schemes were designed in the paper respectively. Thrusters were used as the main attitude control actuators for the whole process of the lunar soft landing. In the given phase, the control system consisted both of the thrusters and flywheels.
