| The cluster system is a kind of system which uses the calculation, storage and other resources of various hosts in network efficiently, dynamically and expediently, and also a mid-ware that provides the clients a single system view. The Platform Computing Corporation of Canada is the leading cluster system supplier in the world. EGO is a new core product of Platform Computing, which is the first platform, also the only one, can provide virtual and automatic operation, and share all IT resources for various systems. By taking advantage of network computing platform, EGO provides a single administrative environment, and it can concentrated distribute and manage shared resources for all key application program, services and assignments among dispersed hosts.Platform Computing wants to automate the cluster systems test to reduce testing workload, to improve testing quality and to test those can hardly be done by man. Because of uniqueness of cluster system, it can not be tested automatically with common auto-testing software. Therefore, it needs a specific solution. Platform Computing wants to develop an auto-testing system for EGO to improve the testing results and products' quality.This paper clarifies the research and application of auto-testing technology of integration system. The main points of this paper are as follows:(1) Analyze the structure, working principle and testing traits of EGO;(2) Since the cluster system has the characteristics including cross-platform, heterogeneous and high complexity. Find out a solution that can support various cluster systems on the basis of framework and plug-in mechanism;(3) Develop some automated test cases by using auto-testing technology which is on the basis of action-based testing, and analyze the structure of these cases. It has taken place of manual test as expected. It saved the testing cost and improved the repeatability and quality of testing greatly. |
