In this paper, a pulse generator named XJDMC-G high voltage pulse electric source was manufactured which can produce high voltage ( the maximal voltage 3KV) and huge current( the maximal peak value 1.7MA). This equipment has favourable controlling ability as its charge voltage, deposited energy capacity, charge and discharge time can be adjusted and setup. Charge voltage,charge and discharge time can be displayed by LED. Two control projects were designed and systems of charge & discharge switchs were made. One is absoutly hardware control projectand the other is realized through MC6805UCL singlechip board to control the charge and discharge ' switch exactly. The former system can be used simply whose charge and discharge time range from 0.09s to 9.99s while the later system controls accurately and its charge and discharge time can be adjusted from \ms to 9999m.s. The experiments prove that the performance of equipment has partly satisfied the needs of scientific research and real production.The plaster mould of industrial alloy ZL108 was electric modification treated by using the XJDMC-G high voltage pulse electric source and effects of the characteristic parameter of electric pulse on the solidification structure and mechanical properties of alloys were studied. The experiment effects show that under certain impact times of electric pulse, high strength electric pulse can markedly improve the sufface quality of casting.The mechanical properties of casting can also be improved and its elongation and intensity can be improved 50% and 28.02% respectively. So using optimized electric pulse treatment technics parameters can absolutely achieve the effect of appending tranditional alterative.The method of degrading and breaking great molecule organic substance long chain with arc produced by high voltage & great electrical current pulse was also studied. High voltage (3KV) and millisecond level pulse can release arc acting on industrial waster water. There are a great deal of high energy particle (2~20eV), ozone and ultraviolet radition in the arc and under the effect of this three factors, benzene loop and aroma hydrocarbon great molecule organic substance were broken up, oxidated and ionized. Pulse voltage peak value 3KV, pole space 20mm & 30mm, dealing time 50min, the great degradation ratio can reach 58.3% and 51.1%, conductance ratio descended 45.3% and 29.1%.
