Radome-enclosed antennas and Radar absorbers have found widespread applications in radar, communication, remote sensing and hidden technique. Some research on analysis methods of radome-enclosed antennas, design methods of the wide-band radome and optimization of radar absorbers is presented in the dissertation.Fist, under assumptions of locally planar radome surface and locally plane wave characteristic of waves scatter from antennas, formulations of aperture integration -surface integration which are used to study the radiating property of the 3-D radome-enclosed antennas are presented. The performance of most type of radome walls are also presented, the radiation characteristic of radome-enclosed antennas and the boresight error of radome are calculated. The effect of antenna inclination on the electrical characteristic of radome-enclosed antennas is also discussed.Second , (?) general optimization model, analytical method and genetic algorithm for electrical design of wide-band radome are presented. To speed up the GA optimizer, the analytical method is improved and used as a pretreatment for float GA. The transmission characteristic optimization design of A-sandwich Radome and C-sandwich Radome in the frequency ranges of 2-18GHz is presented, and proved the validation of the optimization method.In addition, (?). theory optimization model and improved GA for electrical design of radar absorbers are presented. Two improvements are proposed , that is coding the chromosome with floating point numbers and utilizing subsection varying parameter GA to avoid premature convergence.
