Based On The Smart Phone's A-gps Positioning Technology And Realization

With the development of the society, people move all around the world and alwayschange the location. People want new value-added services that are relevant to theirlocation, personalized to their interests and can be acted upon right away. At the sametimes with the development of position technology, communication network,geographical information system and mobile internet technology, the application oflocation based services (LBS) are booming. LBS is a new type of business servicewhich provides position service including information tracking, navigation and so on. Inthis position technology A-GPS (Assisted GPS) is adopted by mobile operationcompanies as the highest accurate position way in mobile location-based service. Itcombines the technology of GPS and mobile communication network, so A-GPS isconsidered has good future. People can use their mobile to get accurate positioninformation.This subject stems from the subject—terminal business item of intellectual traffic,which belongs to mobile Olympic project. This paper focuses on analyse the A-GPSlocation protocols which are constituted by 3GPP and OMA organization.Then use ULPprotocol and RRLP protocol to structure a A-GPS architecture and implementation of aA-GPS system on Windows Mobile smartphone.
