Qingdao Wcdma Radio Propagation Model Parameter Calibration

Now 3G is coming ,in china the major operator had prepared for it. they had do some work like site survey ,software simulation and so on. when we do GSM project for the first times, there some experience such as we only consider the structure for not longer just do according to its present condition, so we had to modify the site location and other tings for many times. It cost many man hours and money, however we will do 3G network design, and we should had good plan for 3G long time development, in order to get some information if 3G site is building according to GSM location, we had to do simulation with professional software, if we want the more accurate output, we should do model tuning first before we use the software like tcpu do simulation. Like the model used by the professional software like tcpu. For the model parameter default value is same. If we want the local output form the tcpu, we should do model tuning at the local where want use it. Only after mole tuning the tcpu can generate the reliable output. The model tuning method is same, now we only talk about wcdma model tuning issue.What is model, the model is some equation and some parameter and mixed together and show the special radio condition. And the model is always divided into two different models, one is experience model, the other is urban model, the difference between this two model is the first model is average value of many Stat and many driver test ,the other is calculation signal strength of point to point .model tuning is use professional tools and software correct the model parameter to more accordance to the local environment.At the article we major introduce the two different models and the RND method, and we analysis the urban model and experience model, for tcpu it use 9999 for its experience model, and the 9999 is a good model for it had thought many factor include the hata model, we provide the procedure of CW driver test .and use the TMR as receiver we collect many data, after filter some problem data, and correct some wrong data, we do model tuning by tcpu, and the outcome is reliable ,we use it for Qingdao 3G RND simulation ,and simulation result is very accordant with the real site coverage. That should thanks to the model tuning.
