The geospace is the flying area of satellites, mannedspacecraft, space shuttles and space stations and the active area for outer space resources exploitation, earth observation, military space defense and aggression, and space experiments. The earth is surrounded by the plasmasphere with a thickness of about 10R_e (Radius of the Earth). The observation of the plasmasphere imaging is the main means in researching the taking place reasons and the physical models of the storms and substorms, and the main method for human beings to predict the storms, space environments, space weathers, and natural disasters. The target of this thesis is to design the extreme ultraviolet detector for the study of the distribution of He~++ in Earth's plasmasphere by detecting its resonantly-scattered emission at 30.4 run.Firstly, the work principle and characteristics of the WSZ multi-anode imaging detector are introduced. The main parts of the detector like photocathode, microchannel plate (MCP) and WSZ anode are researched. The factors which influence the spacial resolution of the detector, the counting rate and the electron dispersion of the MCP are analyzed in theory. Based on these theories, configurations of the detector are designed. Technique problems like curved-surface MCP, filters, multilayer mirror are researched , structures and assemble schemes are designed. The WSZ multi-anode detector was designed and manufactured. The anode was designed with L-Edit software and manufactured with micro-electronic technics. With a aperture of 2 μ m and a period of 1mm, it was reasoned to achieve a resolution of 200×200 pixels. Three channels data acquisition circuits were designed to detect pulses with 1~20ns widths and 1~20pC total charges. The circuits were tested under vacuum condition and the electron pulses proportionate to the acreages of the anodes...
