Abstract: The coupled cavity slow wave structure have high power capability .It's made in metal with good thermal conductivity and high working voltage. Both the average power output and the pulse power output are high. The calculation of coupled cavity slow wave structure is meaningful to improve the performance of TWT.The major achievements are listed as the followings:1,The calculation of coupled cavity slow wave structure always use the method of circuit,which need the inductance and capacitance .In this paper,we get the dispersion and interaction impedance by admittance matrix。In the end,we discuss the effect of sectorial angle and transit distance .2,A nonlinear theory of TWT is built.Instead of a ring,we use two disks to express the force of space charge.3,Two different structures are designed.The gain,power and efficiency are calculated.
