This dissertation is about the project of Information Transmission Subsystem (ITS) Development, a project of the National High-Tech Research and Development Program of China. To accord with the hierarchical organization of army, the ITS is organized with a layerd network structure.Ad hoc networks are complex distribute systems that consist of nodes that can freely and dynamicallu self-organize. In this way they form arbitrary, and temporary. Meanwhile, aditional wired transport layer protocol perform badly beacause of Ad hoc network character, such as TCP.Focusing on the end-to-end optimization, many solutions based on TCP are proposed and implemented. The solution contains TCP-ELFN,ATCP and ATP. All solutions improves on the correction and instantaneous of network state by the feedback mechanism. But, there isn't a comprehensive Transmission layer protocol for Ad hco network in existence.The application needs special QoS service supported by Transport layer. Faced with numerous optimum solutions, the application is puzzle. So, the paper researches the supporting mechanism of information exchange for information transmiting subsystem.In the paper, the supporting mechanism for infomation exchange is reseaured. So, the paper design and implement Information Distribute and SubScribe Service—IDSS. IDSS supply external Interface,kinds of Transport layere protocol. Focusing on Ad hoc network character and the demand of project, IDSS design and implement the AUDP(Acknowleged User Datagram Protocol) by improving UDP on protocol performance.
