With the developing of digital information and network, people can propagate, copy, store and deal with a lot of multimedia information conveniently. But a lot of side effect is brought to us. For example, the juggling and lawless propagating become easier. It is an important issue to enforce valid copyright protection and information security in the network environment.For the characteristics of imperception and robustness of digital watermark, it is one of techniques to solve the above issue. The robust digital watermark and its applications in copyright protection are studied in this paper. The main contributions are as follow:First, the current development status is studied, basic theories and common algorithm of digital watermarking technique is analyzed, the techniques of digital image scrambling, Discrete Cosine Transformation and Discrete Wavelet Transformation are summarized.According to HVS, a meaningful 2-bit watermarking image embedding algorithm on Y component of YUV color space is proposed, associating the technology of scrambling digital image based on affined transformation. The cover image is not needed when extracting the watermarking data. The design principles are simulated and performances are validated through some common attack experiments of images.A novel blind grayscale digital watermark algorithm is presented. It makes full use of the multi-resolution of DWT and the energy compression of DCT, and embeds grayscale image watermark by preprocessing in the quantifiable quotiety of original image. The cover image is not needed when extracting the watermarking data. The experiment results show that the algorithm has strong robustness on image cut, JPEG and median filter, also has a certain extent resistance on circumgyrate and noise.Based on AES and CDMA, a project of image scrambling and encrypt is proposed, and a. grayscale image watermark embedding algorithm on block DWT is designed in this paper.
