| Software reuse is a technique that constructs the software system with existent software resources. That is, when people are developing a new software application system, they reuse software resources, which they have used or they have built before. In such way, software development doesn't have to start from the scratch. Based on the past achievements, efforts of software, development could be mostly concentrated on special composing composition of application. This work's aim is to research and design a reusable document management system that is based on business models and XML; this system can help users rapidly develop some concrete document management systems.This paper firstly sums up the benefits and the problems of software reuse in software development at present, and then according to specific business characters of the area of document management, brings the realizable solution of reusable document management system. The solution is deepening and implementing both the design thoughts of software reuse based on certain area and model driven development. The author abstracts general business models from common characters of the area of document management, and uses three popular web frameworks to implement the translation of models and the update of this reusable document management system.This solution use organization model and data model to describe business characters of document management, and use XML as the language of the description. The whole system is divided into three parts: models management, rights management and documents management, which are introduced in the chapter of the system design. At last, the paper takes certain department's information management system as example to validate the design thoughts of this reusable document management system and the method of this system's implement, and simultaneously prove that the system ensure the quality of the system development and improve the reuse of whole system. |
