A Special Crt Monitors Lcd Design Modifications

Display is an interface between human and machines. Its capability impacts the alternant efficiency between human and machines directly. Because of little life, big volume, high working voltage, high consume, bad radial and so on, display has impacting the alternant efficiency between human and machines more and more. Therefore, in many fields, replacing CRT display by LCD display which has small volume, little weight, low consume, low working voltage and so on is a trend to improve the alternant efficiency between human and machines. This project is replacing some CRT display by LCD display to improve the alternant efficiency between human and machines.CRT display use lum signal to control the electron gun eradiating electrons, use two scan signals to control the electrons shooting the given dot of the screen, so that a picture forms. LCD display show a picture as raster display as CRT display from the memorizer. Because the nonstandard analog video signal of CRT display can not be conversed by current video conversion chip, this project use A/D converters to sample the nonstandard video signal of CRT display, use FPGA to deal with the sampling signal and write the frame data into memorizer, then use CPLD to drive the LCD display. Finally, this project has been used in the fact.The innovative study of this paper is that: firstly, working out a new way to replace the CRT display by LCD display with no help of the current chip and former study; Secondly, this equipment can not only replace some CRT display, but also be the same with replacing CRT display which show picture in other scan mode; Thirdly, this equipment can make keeping the video data easily.
