In modern aerial weapon experiment, especially in the guided missile system research process, how to capture and track the target promptly and accurately is the chief term to get ballistic parameters of the high-speed motion target, it is also a crucial link. The main method that the base uses to track main high-speed motion target is photoelectric theodolite. Because it is hard to realize effective automatic tracking, manual tracking still gives first place to operators in the experiment. The experiment cost enhances so fast that the cost per experiment may exceeds ten million Yuan in some condition. If the operator is not able to handle photoelectric theodolite to track target accurately and steadily, the task can't be completed and will cause imaginable economic losses.How to train operators in a high-efficiency but low-cost way that is a great problem that puzzles the related military unit at present.Besides, tradition simulation training system has the shortcoming of no friendly man-machine interface, no highly visualization degree, which extremely large restrict the application of the simulation technology. Introducing the virtual reality technology to simulation training system can play two technology advantages and carry out complementation on respective inferior position. It have very well prospect within a segment of period. In military affairs field, high-vivid, new friendly man-machine interface is always required for a long time.Based on the above requirement, this project puts forward a set of developmental scheme for the simulation training system of photoelectric theodolite and its realization. The system can construct vivid three-dimension training scenes and has friendly man-machine interface; it has multiform driving data sources, supports network training, and makes reaction to command order in time; it also is furnished with all-around evaluating and analyzing system, which can efficiently raise the tracking level of the operator.Firstly, this thesis introduces the background and significance of our project. Secondly, it makes a requirement analysis based on a summary of the current research status in home and abroad. And then it compares and analyzes the common track model of the air target. Thirdly, it presents the designing principle. The focus is the discussion of the overall frame and the implement of the modules individually. Finally, it shows a specific engineering application of this system and some pictures cut in process.Now, this system has been successfully applied to in an air force training base. The practice reflects that the simulation training system of photoelectric theodolite can bring users with a "feeling of sensory immersion", realize human-computer interaction and satisfy different subject requirement efficiently.
