This paper presented the Ultra Wide Band (UWB) wireless communication's characteristic, principle and factors that had effect on its capability. We analyzed them by simulation, especially the multi-users interference (MUI) that had the most effect on the system. In this paper, firstly, the history and actuality of Ultra Wide Band wireless communication were described as well as its definition and characteristic. Then the principle of UWB system was studied and analyzed by simulation in three parts transmitting- propagation-receiving. In the part of transmitting, the effects of each factor of UWB impulse were mainly described, and PPM which is the way of modulation and Time-Hopping Multiple-Access (THMA) were analyzed. Then the decision of transmitting project—PPM-TH-UWB was made. And the spectrum of transmitted signal were analyzed. In the part of propagation, first, the analysis of UWB wireless communication link- capability was taken to confirm the transmitting power limit and the maximal distance. Then the impulse response in the AWGN channel was gotten as well as the impulse response in the multi-path channel which used the recommended model by IEEE 802.15.3a. The part of receiving introduced the receiving principle under the cases of AWGN channel and multi-path channel respectively, and give emphasis to the Rake receiver. There are many users in a communication system, so the paper analyzed the UWB multi-users interference. In this segment, an asynchronism system was analyzed in the circumstance that had several users. According the reach previously, we can analyzed and compared the MUI in the different circumstances that had different UWB impulses. And the analysis and comparison of the MUI could be taken in different channels. All of above were simulated by Matlab. At last, the conclusion is that: the magnitude of shape-geneαhas little effect on the rate of error code; the bigger the number of repetition of impulse N s is, i.e. the more impulses that made of pre frame are, the rate of error code is; in the AWGN channel without multi-path, it had much lower rate of error code than that in the multi-path channel. It showed that, multi-path interference have significant effect on the system. With the development of wireless communication technology, people pay more attention to the UWB system, because of its high speed, low power, high dependability,...
