Pci-based Real-time Image Acquisition

Image capture system , which play an important role in digital image processing. IT conversion the analog signals come from camera to digital signals, or capture the digital signals from digital camera derectly, then transmit this signal to PC by high speed computer bus. it's very convenience to analyse and process by PC's powerful calculate , process , storage capability. This system is friendly, flexible and transplantable.With the rapid development of DSP technique and enhancement of process speed, digital processing turn to real time process. At the same time, because of the extend technique of computer bus, image capture base on computer bus and DSP is applied broadly. As requirement of high speed transmit, PCI bus is so popular because high speed and low power consume.A Image capture card base on PCI BUS is designed by this thesis, digital image signal are captured from Camera Link interface camera, then is transmited to PC, bypass the OSD fpga and 64BIT/66MHz PCI BUS, at the same time , the captured image can be display in screen encode by video D/A. This design maximal speed is 528MB/S.
