Based Web Database System

Web is a hot technology with most rapid development and drastic competition. Because WWW and database system are the basis of network information service and electronic business, their combination will become the trend of information field. Based on project: "Integrated Business Design CAD System", "Implementation of EDBMS's SQL with Web" and "Electronic Conference System Supporting Concurrent Engineering", the thesis made deep research on integration method between WWW and database system, especially CGI and MCS method, and frame communication of different integration method.The main work of the thesis is as following:1 .By referring to a large number of material, the thesis introduces the integration architecture, integration requirement, integration difficulty and integration method between WWW and database system, analyzes the characteristic of different method and indicates the future trend of Web database.2.Based on project "Integrated Business Design CAD System", the thesis made study on "Integrated Business Design CAD System with Web". By CGI method, we transform a system of two-level C/S architecture into a system of three-level architecture with web. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the implementation method, principle and security of CGI in detail. It also constructs a communication interface between Client application and Web Server for this transformation.3.By MCS integration method, "Implementation of EDBMS's SQL with Web" constructed a gateway Server to implement the communication between Java applet and Database server. It made users interact with database without HTTP Server, and solved the low efficiency problem caused by HTTP Server.
