Urban Air Quality Information Visualization Research

As the era of information explosion coming, it promotes the field of science information visualization appearance that we explore the relationship between the complex abstract information to promote this field of science information visualization appearance. Visualization Technique is not only used for scientific data, but also applies to abstract information as a basic tool, and it reveals the relationship between information and features which hidden in information.Jinan environment monitoring has carried on urban air quality monitoring since 1999 to stand, having accumulated a large amount of historical data of monitoring. The historical data and predict to the quality analysis of whole urban surrounding air has very important meanings. With the setting-up of real-time monitoring system and real-time online monitoring system of pollution sources of air quality, the growth of the data is faster. The traditional data processing method and means based on database model can't already satisfy the control over magnanimity data and use, the people need new technical support badly, to realize the analysis on existing data and use.First, this paper introduced the current research situation of information visualization completely, and others made reference model to understand the process of information visualization and the need to address the main issues. According to the information visualization Keim classification describes existing information visualizet-ion methods, and various visualization methods of thinking. The major work done on several fronts:1. We achieved environmental air quality data jinan's visualization by using the Pixel-oriented Visualization techniques. In this context we expounded the main theory of Pixel-oriented techniques, color mapping scheme, pixel sequence, the shape of subwindows design and arrangement of dimension. According to Jinan's environmental air quality information practical application, we use Circle-Segment Technique to design and the realization of air quality data visualization. And it provided main Techniques in the experimental designing of the algorithm and color-mapping scheme, based on the final results of air quality data visualization analysis.2.
