The subject of this paper is based on the DARFAD. And the DARFAD is the achievements in scientific of design automation system. The subject is the further explore of VR (Virtual Reality) which is used in the conceptual Design. The simulation of moving in the stage of Conceptual Design, establish a flat of the communication between designer and client. According the simulation can make a visualized cognition to the product, find the shortage of the design in the early stage and reduce the time of the design modify. From the simulation, agitate the innovative thought.The paper completely researches a study the developing status of the Conceptual Design of the mechatronic products at home an abroad, and discusses the problems in Computer Aided Conceptual Design of the product. Also analyses the developing status of the researches on VR domestic and foreign. Make a description and compare among the flats of the simulation.Based on innovation flat, introduce the functions and modules of the system. Discuss of Decomposition an Reconstitution (D&R), Principle of Generalization Orientation and Mechanism of Growth Design are discussed.
