Grass-roots Public Security Management Information System (mis) Design And Implementation,

Network applications, which based on the ISO/OSI Reference Model, make a lot of potential users indistinguishably operate on different networks, share resources and communicate each other. Most of the early management information systems developed for the specific enterprises have released people from the hard-works. The Public Security System also needs good management information systems, in order to speed up information transmission, data sharing and provide decision-making for the leaders. This paper based on the "Golden Shield Project" and the methods of the software engineering, analyzed, designed and developed a management information system (MIS) for the Public Security System. This system largely satisfied the requirement of the Public Security System routines.In this paper, the author first analyzed the B/S system architecture based on the Intranet, summarized the methods that how to implement the data input and the statistics analysis with PowerBuilder; And then analyzed the business flow of the system in depth, modeled the system by using object-oriented modeling technology; Third, the author analyzed the system business flow, designed the system network topology using the software engineering method and refined the Client/Server and Browser/Server architecture of the network communication, completed the analysis and design of the database module and the business flow module of the information system; Finally, a management of information system for the Public Security System was developed in PowerBuilder and Visual InterDev based on the C/S and B/S structure in the Intranet network environments.This system conforms to the thought of the modern business management so as to reduce the workload of maintaining it. Moreover, the design of this system is based on the modern MIS theory, so it has the certain guiding sense to the Public Security MIS system developments.This system has been used for several months, the results show that it has the advantages of good performance, high reliability and well-defined interface.
