The shape-reconstruction base on point cloud data is the research hotspot in computer graphics domain at present. Shape-reconstruction to discrete point cloud data sampling from the striation figure is one of important research contents of it. The discrete point cloud data sampling from the striation figure is common. In research area of pattern recognition, image processing and so on, many long but narrow band-like image such as the writing, the engineering plat, the road map, the fingerprint and so on, needs to be processed frequently. In digitized process such as scanning, quantification, as a result of each kind of reason, the quality of band-like image is very bad. Many industry design used in ceramic, colored papers, the printing and so on , also is long but narrow band-like image. Moreover, some images itself is composed by some separate spots (for example the image formed through spurts "snow spot"). the continuity between pixsels is very bad in the image have obtained.In order to carries on the recognition or reconstruction,we need the processing such as repair the broken parts to gain its effective characteristic information. In this thesis, we regard this kind of image as the point cloud data to process. Because of the skeleton has encompassed the most valid digital information of image characteristic which can describing the image effectively . Therefore we need to calculate their skeleton frequently in the processing of recognition or rendering and so on. This thesis distinguishes or reconstructs band-like image though gain skeleton of point cloud data.It is the key and the difficulty of shape reconstruction for discrete pint cloud data that how to gain the characteristic information such as the image boundary or skeleton of original band-like image from the discrete pint cloud data effectively,and it also is main research content of this thesis.In this thesis, in order to gain the skeleton of the band-like image that expressed by point cloud, first, uses Delaunay Triangulation method which suits the discrete set of points and the corresponding rule to obtains the boundary of the band-like image, and then base on it ,adopts skeletonization algorithm...
