Study Based On The Location Of The Mobile Phone Platform Applications

By making use of mobile network, Location-based Services on the handset locates customer and provides geography information service.Integrated by Mobile Communication, Geographic Information System and Localization technology, Location-based Services can have an effect on Emergency Aid, Logistics Management, Tourism and Entertainment; it's a promising add-on service.Thesis introduced the concept of Location-based Services, discussed the relative technology—localization and handset, reviewed the present situation of LBS both abroad and home especially the situation in Japan where Location-based Services develops better, and proposed the future tendency of Location based Services, popularization, going for industries, game-playing.Based on Connected Limited Device Configuration environment, Business card navigation system on handset platform was designed to complete the function of business card management and navigation. Limited by time, some function of business card navigation system wasn't completed.One of the thesis innovations is the proposed future tendency of Location based Services. Another is the integration between a map and business cards, as a special way of LBS based on handsets which people daily carries, making GIS a better way to serves the people.The tables, graphs and some source codes were listed in the appendix.
