In the voltage regulator circuit, the zener diode which acts as the voltage datum, along with the temperature change, its regulated voltage value also can have the corresponding change. The people hoped its change smaller is better. Change smaller, meant the voltage of the electric circuit outputs is stabler, this is beneficial for the electric appliance, specially the aviation, spaceflight as well as the precision guidance of missile and so on, have more and more high request to zener diode. Therefore, the people have gone deep into research constantly in this domain in recent years by the time, hope to make the voltage datum zener diode is stabler.This article narrated several kinds of manufacture plan of zener diode, the key research are to realize the PN junction series combination of multilayer mesa structure by epitaxial method, to achieve the goal of the temperature coefficient compensation mutually of forward PN function and reverse PN function and Cause the zener diode's regulated voltage value V_Z to maintain relatively constant along with the temperature change.
